Job summary
Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to implement and support ECH solutions on-premise and in the cloud. The role is remote with US locations and requires extensive travel (75%+ US and international).
You’ll configure, test, cut over, and provide post-cut support, while documenting cloud configurations and API integrations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical deployment, strong virtualization, Windows/Linux, and network expertise, plus security
Qualifications
- 5+ years in engineering or technical deployment environments.
- Experience deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
- Relevant Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
- Conducts site verification testing before production cutover.
- Configures connectivity between local site infra and cloud environments.
- Provides support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
- Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during deployment.
- Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved timely.
- Contributes to MOPs for cloud migrations and system upgrades.
- Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
