Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to deploy and support Emergency Call Handling solutions across on-premise and cloud-hosted environments. You will configure systems, perform site verification, troubleshoot connectivity, and work with customers and partners to ensure a successful production cut.

This remote role requires US work authorization, 5+ years in engineering or technical environments, and willingness to travel 50–75% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Virtualization and server OS deployments (VMware/Hyper-V/RedHat).
• SQL Server and Windows Server experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for all supported ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Conducts site verification testing prior to production cut.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Supports customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Participates in development and approval of methods for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Engages in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations as required.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
