Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to lead on-site configuration, testing, cutover, and post-cut support for our ECH solutions in a remote-capable role across the United States.

The position requires 75%+ travel and reports to the ECH Field Engineer Manager. You will drive cloud and on-premise deployments, collaborate with customers and channel partners, and maintain SME skills in cloud-native public safety technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or Technology.
• 3+ years of deployment and integration of complex IP products.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS) and Private Cloud environments.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals preferred.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Conducts site verification testing prior to production rollout.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between on-site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during implementation.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation and quality issues.
