Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead deployment and integration across on-premise and cloud-hosted environments. This remote role requires extensive travel (US and international) to implement and support ECH solutions for public safety customers.

You will configure systems, verify site readiness, troubleshoot cloud connectivity, and document all changes. Strong virtualization, Windows Server, SQL Server, and directory services knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.) or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting, including connectivity and identity management.
• Experience with server virtualization (KVM/ESXi/Hyper-V) and Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of SQL Server installations and Active Directory basics.

Responsibilities

• Configure and verify ECH solutions on-premise and cloud-based.
• Perform site verification testing and cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provide deployment support to customers and partners.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during deployment.
• Assist in MSP-style customer negotiations and pre-contract activities.
• Maintain expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
