Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to implement and support on-premise and cloud-hosted Emergency Call Handling solutions across the US. Expect heavy travel and direct customer engagement.

The role requires site design-based configuration, testing, cutover support, and post-cut monitoring. Strong cloud, virtualization, and network troubleshooting skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or Technology.
• 3+ years of deployment and integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms and Deployment Models (Azure / AWS / Private Cloud).
• Experience with Cloud-based application troubleshooting, including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure) preferred.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between on-site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during implementation.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Participates in MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains skills in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
