Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a remote Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead deployment and integration of ECH solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. You will configure systems, verify site readiness, and support customers and partners during production cutovers.

The role requires strong cloud, server, and networking skills, with extensive travel (50-75% per the travel section) and a US passport for international work.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years of engineering/technical deployment experience.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ are preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with virtualization and server OS administration.
• Familiarity with SIP, ACD routing, and SBC provisioning.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Configure and verify ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS deployments.
• Perform site verification testing and cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between on-site and cloud environments.
• Support customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Document changes including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Contribute to МOPs for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participate in customer presentations and negotiations as needed.
• Maintain expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
