Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Remote ECH Field Engineer to join our Software Enterprise Deployment and Integration team. You will implement and support Emergency Call Handling solutions across on-premise and cloud environments, logging changes, and ensuring smooth production readiness on cutovers.

Role requires 3+ years deploying complex IP products, strong cloud concepts, and hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, Windows Server, SQL Server, and Cisco networking.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Security+) preferred.
• Experience with SSO/Active Directory and identity management.
• Experience with VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization.
• Windows Server administration (2012–2022) and SQL Server experience.
• Public Safety applications deployment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cuts.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Documents all changes to the solution and API integrations.
• Supports customers and channel partners during deployment to production.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues and participates in cloud migration SOPs.
