Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an Experienced ECH Field Engineer to lead deployment of Emergency Call Handling solutions across on-premise and cloud environments, coordinating with customers and partners. The role is remote with substantial US and international travel.

The position requires a solid engineering background, cloud and virtualization experience, and telecom/AD proficiency. Citizenship and security clearance eligibility are necessary for government contracts.

Qualifications

• College degree in engineering, IT, or technology.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• Public safety deployment experience preferred.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) a plus.
• Network+ and Security+ certifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Perform site verification testing and production cutovers.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Support customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Document changes and API integrations during deployments.
• Create and approve methods of procedure for cloud migrations.
• Engage in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintain expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
