Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to join our Software Enterprise Deployment and Integration team. You will implement and validate ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments, with heavy travel across the US and internationally.

The role emphasizes system configuration, testing, and post-cut support, while collaborating with customers and partners. A strong background in networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments
• US work authorization with ability to obtain security clearance
• Experience deploying complex IP products and systems
• Relevant cloud certifications are a plus (AWS/Azure)
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certified

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions on site and in cloud environments
• Perform site verification testing prior to production cutovers
• Troubleshoot connectivity between on-site and cloud environments
• Provide deployment support to customers and partners
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations
• Support cloud migrations and system upgrades planning
• Engage in pre-contract customer discussions as needed
• Maintain expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies
