Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a highly skilled ECH Field Engineer for remote work across the United States. The role requires extensive travel (75%+), configuration, testing, and support of ECH solutions both on-premise and cloud-based.

You will collaborate with customers and partners, document changes, and contribute to cloud migration strategies. The ideal candidate has a engineering/IT degree, 5+ years in technical deployments, strong cloud and virtualization experience, and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 3+ years in deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud Certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Knowledge of server virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V), Cisco IOS, Fortinet FortiGate, and Windows/Linux environments.
• Familiarity with SIP, ACD call routing, SBC provisioning, and basic AD.
• US passport eligibility for international travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Conducts site verification testing before production cutovers.
• Troubleshoots connectivity between on-site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Supports customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during deployment.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Contributes to MOPs for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
