Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer for remote work across the US. The role involves on-site and cloud configurations, testing, and production cutovers with significant travel (50–75%).

You’ll support customers, document configurations, and participate in cloud migrations and system upgrades. The ideal candidate has a college degree in engineering or IT, 5+ years in deploying complex IP products, and relevant cloud/Network certifications.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology required.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments with complex IP products.
• US work authorization; ability to obtain security clearance.
• Cloud and network troubleshooting, SSO/AD identities, and connectivity.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi and Hyper-V) and Windows/Linux servers.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions onsite and in cloud environments.
• Perform site verification and ensure production readiness.
• Troubleshoot local to cloud connectivity and integrations.
• Support customers and partners during deployment and cutover.
• Document changes, configurations, and API integrations during projects.
• Contribute to cloud migration methods and upgrades and assist in pre-contract discussions.
• Maintain SME knowledge of cloud-native public safety technologies.
