Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to implement and support ECH solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. The role requires hands-on configuration, testing, and post-cut support with extensive travel in the US and internationally.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in IP deployments, cloud-based troubleshooting, virtualization, and security considerations, with US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud troubleshooting including connectivity, latency and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with server virtualization and database/server OS administration.
• Public safety applications deployment and integration experience preferred.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Verify sites pre-cut into production; document changes and integrations.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local/cloud environments; support customers and partners.
• Develop and approve methods of procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Travel up to 75% across US and internationally; remote/hybrid work as applicable.
