Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead the deployment and integration of ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud-hosted environments. The role emphasizes system configuration, testing, and post-cut support, with extensive travel required to customer sites and partners across the US and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Engineering/IT/Technology or related field.
• 5+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Certifications like AWS/Azure are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ are preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting, connectivity, latency, and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based apps.
• Perform site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Support customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Resolve installation/quality issues promptly.
• Develop and approve cloud migration/upgrade procedures.
• Participate in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
