Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced ECH Field Engineer to oversee on-site and cloud-enabled deployments of Emergency Call Handling solutions. This remote role involves extensive travel (50-75%), coordinating with customers and partners to ensure production readiness.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering/technical environments, strong cloud/telephony knowledge, and exposure to Windows/Linux, SQL Server, and virtualization. A security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ are preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based app troubleshooting and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with VM/Hyper-V and Cisco switch configurations.
• US passport eligible for international travel up to 75%.
• Security clearance potential for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Conducts site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Resolves installation/quality issues in a timely manner.
• Assists in cloud migration methods and project upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
