Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to deploy, configure, test, and support ECH solutions on-site and in hybrid cloud environments. The role requires heavy travel (up to 75%) across the US and internationally, with on-call and post-cut support responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering/IT background, 5+ years in deployment, cloud familiarity, and proficiency with Windows/Linux servers, networking, and VoIP technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in deployment or integration of complex IP products.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud.
• conducts site verification testing prior to production cutovers.
• Configures connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provides customer and channel partner deployment support.
• Documents changes including cloud configurations and integrations.
• Resolves installation/quality issues promptly.
• Assists in cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations & negotiations.
