Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead deployment and integration of ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments for public safety customers.

The role requires strong engineering background, cloud and virtualization expertise, and extensive travel within the US. You will collaborate with customers and partners to ensure a successful deployment and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical deployments.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience with cloud-based deployment and on-prem/cloud integrations.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and server OSes.
• Preferred cloud certs and telephony knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions on-site and in cloud.
• Perform site verification and production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provide customer/partner support during deployment.
• Document changes and API integrations.
• Support cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Assist in pre-contract presentations.
• Maintain expertise in cloud-native public safety tech.
