Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced ECH Field Engineer to deploy and support Emergency Call Handling solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. The role requires extensive travel (50-75%) within the US and internationally, with responsibilities spanning configuration, testing, and post-cut support.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering/technical roles, strong cloud and telephony knowledge, and readiness for security-clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in an engineering or technical environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Configures and troubleshoots ECH solutions on-premises and cloud.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides remote support to customers and partners during deployment.
• Documents changes including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Maintains SME skills in cloud-native public safety tech.
• Assists in methods of procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
