Job summary

Motorola Solutions, United States, is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to implement and support ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud-hosted environments. This remote role involves heavy travel and collaboration with customers and partners.

You will configure systems, verify site readiness, troubleshoot connectivity, and document changes during deployments and cloud migrations.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ are preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Supports customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved timely.
• Participates in Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Maintains SME skills in cloud-native public safety technologies.
