Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead deployment, configuration and testing of ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. The role requires collaboration with customers and channel partners to ensure successful production cutovers and post-cut support.

The position emphasizes strong cloud, networking, and telephony knowledge, with extensive travel and eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering or technical environments.
• Experience deploying/integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting, connectivity, and identity management (SSO/AD).

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions on-premise and cloud.
• Plan and execute site verification testing prior to production cutovers.
• Connect local infrastructure with cloud environments and troubleshoot integrations.
• Provide deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Document changes to cloud tenants, API integrations, and deployment steps.
• Assist in cloud migrations and system upgrades with defined MOPs.
• Participate in customer negotiations and pre-contract presentations.
• Maintain expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
