Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer for a remote role with extensive travel (75%) across the US and internationally. You will implement and support ECH solutions, including on-premise and cloud-hosted environments, ensuring configurations meet site designs and cutover plans.

The role requires strong networking, cloud and telephony knowledge, plus the ability to work independently with customers and partners to deliver reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environment.
• US work authorization and citizenship for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants, APIs, and configurations during deployment.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Participates in MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Engages in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
