Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to implement, configure, test, and support ECH systems on-premise and in cloud environments. The role requires heavy travel (US and international) and collaboration with customers and channels.

The candidate will document configurations, manage connectivity between local and cloud environments, and help develop methods for cloud migrations and system upgrades while staying current with cloud-native public safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Microsoft) required.
• Experience with Windows Server, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and SQL Server.
• Public safety applications deployment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS applications.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production deployment.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local site and cloud environments.
• Documents changes to solutions including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Maintains SME skills in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
