Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to implement, configure, test, and support ECH solutions on-premise and in cloud environments.

The role reports to the ECH Field Engineer Manager and requires extensive travel (75%+). Remote candidates located anywhere in the US are welcome, with emphasis on cloud migrations and complex deployments for public safety applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering or Technology.
• 3+ years of deployment and integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, Private Cloud).
• Experience with cloud-based application troubleshooting, connectivity, latency, and identity management (SSO/AD).

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for all ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to the solution and cloud tenant configurations.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Contributes to Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
