Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer. The role will implement and support ECH solutions on premises and in the cloud, including hybrid cloud deployments.

Expect extensive travel across the US and internationally, with on-site configuration, testing, and post-cut support. You will document changes, troubleshoot cloud integrations, and assist customers and partners while staying current with cloud-native public safety technologies.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in deployment or integration of IP products and systems.
• Cloud and on-premise troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Telephony knowledge related to analog lines and PRI is a plus.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during deployment.
• Supports customers and channel partners during deployment and post-cut.
• Develops and approves Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
