Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to implement, configure, test, and support ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. The role involves significant travel and remote work, collaborating with customers and partners to ensure successful deployments.

Responsibilities include system configuration, site verification testing, cloud connectivity, and documentation.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology
• 3+ years deploying/integrating complex IP products and systems
• Cloud certifications and security credentials
• Experience with Cloud-based troubleshooting and identity management (SSO/AD)
• Experience with virtualization and server OS administration
• Experience with Windows Server versions and SQL Server
• Knowledge of Cisco networking and Fortinet security
• Telephony knowledge related to analog lines and PRI
• Ability to work independently with time management
• Experience with public safety applications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover
• Configures connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners
• Documents changes to cloud tenant configurations and integrations
• Resolves installation/quality issues in a timely manner
• Participates in MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations
• Maintains expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies
