Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead deployment of ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. You will configure, test, and cut sites, then support production environments while coordinating with customers and partners.

The role requires strong IT/engineering background, cloud and network skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% for US and international assignments.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical deployment or integration.
• Cloud certifications are a plus (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with SaaS/cloud-based applications and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions on-site and in cloud environments.
• Verify sites prior to production cutovers.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Support customers and channel partners during deployment and production.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during deployment.
• Contribute to methods of procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Engage in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
