Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to deliver expert applications support, drive successful product adoption, and optimize customer workflows across the Northeast region. You’ll collaborate with Sales and Service to ensure effective instrument implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction.

This role can be remote with up to 75% travel and requires strong histology knowledge, customer training experience, and the ability to troubleshoot

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience or Master’s with 0-2 years.
• Understanding of Histology, Anatomic Pathology, Laboratory Automation, or related marketplace.
• Ability to troubleshoot applications, train customers, and support laboratory workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Support instrument installations, evaluations, validations, and workflow optimization.
• Provide expert applications support and customer training to improve competency and laboratory performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and customers to drive adoption and satisfaction.
• Investigate and resolve technical application issues with cross-functional teams.
• Identify customer needs and contribute to product/workflow improvements.
