Job summary

Leica Biosystems is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, and repair diagnostic solutions across a designated territory. You will work remotely within the territory, travel up to 90% and report to the Regional Field Service Manager to ensure optimal instrument performance and uptime.

The role emphasizes advanced technical expertise, customer-driven service delivery, and collaboration with support, applications, and leadership to resolve complex challenges.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing complex diagnostic/instrumentation systems.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively and maintain customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Leica Biosystems diagnostic solutions.
• Manage service execution within the assigned territory to maximize uptime.
• Support escalations and share expertise with peers to implement sustainable solutions.
