Job summary
Leica Biosystems is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to deliver expert applications support and drive successful adoption of our diagnostic instruments across the Pacific Northwest. You will lead installations, provide training, and optimize laboratory workflows with a strong emphasis on customer success.
This field-based role requires up to 70% travel, with remote work flexibility and collaboration with Sales, Service, and Product teams.
Qualifications
- Requires degree in life sciences with relevant experience or related field.
- Experience/training in immunohistochemistry and lab workflows preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex applications and train customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead instrument installations, evaluations, validations and customer onboarding to drive successful implementation.
- Provide expert applications support, troubleshooting and training to improve laboratory performance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Service, and customers to optimize workflows and ensure customer success.
- Identify issues, document field insights, and support product and service improvements.
- Travel up to 70% within the territory to support customers and installations.
