Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer to deliver advanced technical expertise for diagnostic solutions. You will troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair instruments, driving maximum uptime while supporting customers across the territory.

This remote role requires up to 90% travel domestically, strong communication, and leadership to mentor peers and collaborate with product teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 6+ years of field service or related troubleshooting experience.
• Advanced experience diagnosing and repairing complex medical device or instrumentation systems.
• Proven ability to resolve complex technical challenges and communicate across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs, including escalations.
• Use service data and root-cause analysis to improve uptime and service quality.
• Mentor Field Service Engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
