Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diagnostic solutions across a designated US territory. The role focuses on maximizing instrument uptime and ensuring reliable workflows for our customers.

You will work remotely within the territory, join a field service team, and report to the Regional Field Service Manager. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 3+ years of field service experience or Bachelor’s in Science with 1+ year.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing complex systems (mechanical/electromechanical/electronic).
• Ability to work independently across customer sites and drive customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Leica diagnostic solutions.
• Manage service execution within the assigned territory, prioritizing customer needs and ensuring instrument performance.
• Serve as a technical resource, support escalations, and collaborate with teams to implement sustainable solutions.
