Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a remote IT/Clinical Systems Analyst with Epic experience to map, analyze, and improve workflows for Epic applications. The role includes on-call duties and hands-on configuration, testing, and documentation to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, 3+ years in an IT/clinical setting, and Epic certification. Travel is minimal; the position supports a national remote workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer science or related field.
• 3+ years in IT or clinical env with business process mapping, analysis, and testing.
• Experience with Epic or similar healthcare applications.
• Proven project management experience with PM software.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, analyze, and improve clinical and business processes for Epic apps.
• Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes.
• Prepare documentation using diagrams and data models for requirements.
• Configure systems to meet business requirements and validate via testing.
• Develop test plans, cases, and scripts; track issues and outcomes.
• Create training materials and train end users on applications.
