Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled Epic analyst to identify, map, and improve clinical and business processes related to Epic applications. The role requires analysis, documentation, and collaboration with users and vendors to translate requirements into effective designs.

This fully remote position in the United States offers a 40-hour work week, on-call responsibilities, and dayshift schedule. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in CS and 3+ years in IT or clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation experiences.
• Experience in Epic and other Healthcare applications.
• Project management experience with ability to use project management software.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes using industry standards and best practices.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements with diagrams and data models for discussion and analysis.
• Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications and reviews with the user.
