Job summary
Advocate Health seeks an IT Analyst to map, analyze, and improve Epic-based clinical and business processes. You will translate user needs into specifications, participate in testing, and train end users.
This role combines IT with clinical workflow optimization in a fully remote setting. Applicants should have a Bachelor's in CS or related field and about 3 years in an IT/clinical environment, with Epic experience and project-management capability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
- 3 years IT or clinical environment experience with business process mapping, analysis, requirements and testing.
- Experience with Epic and other Healthcare applications.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve Epic workflows and related clinical/business processes.
- Translate user requirements into functional specifications and reviews.
- Configure systems to meet business requirements and develop test plans/cases.
- Develop training materials and train end-users or trainers.
- Monitor system functionality and drive process improvements.
- Communicate project status to clinic users and manage upgrades.
