Job summary

Advocate Health in United States seeks an experienced Epic Analyst to optimize Epic workflows across clinical and business processes. You will map current workflows, translate requirements into system specs, and collaborate with clinicians, vendors, and IT staff to ensure effective solutions.

The role is full-time, dayshift with on-call duties and is fully remote across eligible states. A Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field plus 3+ years in IT/clinical settings are required, with Epic

Qualifications

3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining requirements, acceptance testing and documentation.
Experience using healthcare applications and databases, and ability to translate user requirements into system specs.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
Conduct workflow analysis and map critical business processes using industry standards and best practices.
Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams, data models and object models.
Evaluate proposed solutions against business and clinical needs.
Develop test plans and validate performance of functions.
Provide training materials and end-user training as appropriate to the project.
