Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Epic Analyst to identify, map, analyze, and improve Epic-driven clinical and business workflows. You will document requirements, design specifications, and testing plans while coordinating with clinical users and IT teams.

This role is fully remote and requires strong communication and collaboration across disciplines. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS or related field with 3 years in IT/clinical settings, and experience with Epic and other healthcare

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation experiences.
Experience in Epic and other Healthcare applications.
Project management experience with ability to use project management software.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic.
Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes using best practices.
Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams and data models.
Evaluate whether proposed solutions meet business and clinical needs.
Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
Prioritize requirements based on business needs and impact.
