Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Epic Analyst to map and optimize Epic workflows within a remote, full-time role. You will analyze clinical and business processes, translate user requirements into designs, and support testing and training efforts for end users.

The ideal candidate has Epic experience, 3+ years in IT/clinical settings, and a willingness to obtain EPIC certification within six months. The position offers a dayshift schedule and remote work from multiple US states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3 years in IT or clinical environment with BPM, analysis, requirements, testing and documentation.
• EPIC certification within 6 months (required by department).

Responsibilities

• Identify and map clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Perform workflow analysis and map critical processes.
• Prepare documentation using data flow diagrams, data models, and object models.
• Translate user requirements into functional/technical design specs.
• Prioritize requirements and assess technological impact.
• Configure systems to meet business requirements.
• Develop test plans, cases, and scripts; validate performance.
• Conduct testing and track issues; train end users as needed.
• Create training materials and train users.
