Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to own the full pre-sales cycle for State, Local, and Education accounts. This role is a builder position—shape how we engage public sector prospects, drive technical wins, and scale repeatable processes with Account Executives.

Based in the United States with hybrid remote options (remote from home allowed in CT, MA, ME, NC, NJ, NY), you’ll travel ~30% for customer meetings and events. Join a high-impact team driving public sector growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a B2B SaaS pre-sales/solutions architecture or technical consulting role supporting enterprise SLED customers.
• Experience evolving from a technical background with practical IT operations knowledge in public sector environments.
• Strong communication with executive presence and ability to tailor messaging for varied stakeholders.
• Understanding of procurement processes and compliance in SLED environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the full pre-sales technical experience for SLED and enterprise accounts—from discovery to PoC and implementation.
• Collaborate with AEs and Sales leadership to drive public sector growth and align technical value to agency goals.
• Partner with onboarding and Customer Success to accelerate time-to-value and adoption across large public environments.
• Support alignment of technical content in RFPs/RFIs with SME input, without owning full proposal management.
• Serve as a strategic voice between Sales and Product, surfacing feedback and influencing roadmap directions.
• Build reusable technical assets, including lab environments, demo flows, battlecards, and scripts.
• Represent NinjaOne at government and education-focused events and customer forums.
