Job summary

Chainguard, a trusted source for open source security, is seeking a Sales Engineer to translate complex security and cloud-native concepts into compelling value for enterprise and mid-market customers. You will conduct demos, POVs, and RFP responses, partnering with the Sales team to secure technical wins.

Bring experience with container tech (Kubernetes, Docker), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google), and cloud security. A startup mindset and collaborative spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar frameworks.
• Experience selling into Enterprise and Mid Market segments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to demonstrate value and win technical decisions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, POVs/POCs, and RFP responses.
• Engage in webinars, meetups, and conferences to generate opportunities.
