Chainguard is the trusted source for open source. We help organizations build faster while remaining secure. Chainguard seeks a Sales Engineer to assess technical requirements and illustrate how our products meet client needs.

You will partner with the Sales Team, demonstrate our capabilities, and drive technical wins with enterprise and mid-market customers across cloud and container security domains.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
• 5+ years selling into Enterprise and Mid Market.

Responsibilities

• Partner with our Sales Team to help customers evaluate and prove the value of our solution.
• Focus on acquiring new customer logos in addition to growing the existing base.
• Own all technical aspects of opportunities and explain Chainguard's value to customers.
• Listen to customers and understand their challenges.
• Conduct product demonstrations and POVs/POCs.
• Participate in webinars, meetups, conferences and other marketing initiatives.
