Job summary

Chainguard, a trusted source for open source security and production-ready builds, is seeking a Sales Engineering Leader for Enterprise accounts. You will partner with regional sales leadership to craft and execute technical sales strategies, manage and mentor a team of sales engineers, and align customer requirements with Chainguard’s solutions.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cloud and container security expertise, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in Sales Engineering Leadership for Enterprise accounts.
• Minimum 8+ years as Sales Engineer in Enterprise accounts.
• Proficiency with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC and Command of the Message frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of sales engineers for Chainguard’s Enterprise business.
• Partner with regional Sales Leadership to plan and execute technical sales strategies.
• Set performance goals and evaluate staff; identify customer requirements and provide technical expertise.
