Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Sales Development/Business Development professional for the Large Enterprise Sales team. You will generate qualified pipeline, engage senior HR/Finance/IT leaders, and qualify opportunities using MEDDICC. Strong communication and CRM proficiency are essential as you collaborate with Marketing and Sales Ops to execute campaigns.

The role is fully remote within the U.S. with standard work hours and ongoing training to advance in enterprise sales.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in sales development, business development or customer-facing roles, preferably SaaS/enterprise tech.
• Strong written and verbal communication, especially with senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage outbound prospecting and generate qualified interest in multi-solution offerings.
• Experience using CRM systems and sales engagement tools.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and pipeline generation in Large Enterprise accounts.
• Conduct high-level needs assessments and qualify opportunities (MEDDICC).
• Document interactions and next steps in CRM with accuracy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations on campaigns and messaging.
• Support campaigns, webinars, and events to drive attendance.
