Applied Systems is seeking a Sales Consultant to join our Primary Sales team. You will hunt new logos, selling enterprise solutions to independent insurance agencies with 10-199 users. This remote-friendly role covers Tennessee or Kentucky, with travel up to 50% and a total compensation range of $230,000-$250,000 USD (OTE).

The position emphasizes building a strong pipeline, partnering with Solution Consultants, and driving growth in a dynamic insurance-tech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% within your assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for new logos, selling enterprise solutions to independent insurance agencies with 10-199 users
• Prospect, cold call, open doors, and set appointments to build your own pipeline
• Partner with Solution Consultants to create business plans showing how our SaaS and cloud products help agencies reach their goals
• Follow up promptly on leads from our Business Development Group and work with sales leadership to identify new target areas
• Engage prospects with a consultative approach and close new business
• Represent Applied at industry events and tradeshows, and maintain customer relationships after the sale to cultivate referrals
