Job summary

Applied Systems is seeking a Sales Consultant to join the Sales team and drive new-logo growth by selling enterprise SaaS and cloud solutions to independent insurance agencies. You will partner with Solution Consultants to craft business plans and demonstrate how our products help clients reach goals more efficiently.

The role is remote-based within Seattle or Portland, with up to 50% travel in the assigned territory and a strong focus on consultative, value-driven selling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience.
• Self-starter who is disciplined, creative, and independent.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for new logos: prospect, cold call, open doors, set appointments, and close sales of our SaaS and cloud solutions to independent insurance agencies with 10–199 users.
• Dedicate 100% of your time to selling enterprise business solutions to new accounts, engaging prospects with a consultative approach.
• Partner with our Solution Consultants to build business plans that show how Applied products help clients reach their goals more efficiently.
• Follow up promptly on leads from our Business Development Group.
• Work with sales team and management to identify new target areas and opportunities.
• Represent Applied at industry events and tradeshows, and maintain customer relationships after the sale to grow your referral base.
