Job summary

Paylocity, a cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, seeks an Enterprise HCM Account Executive to engage executive-level client contacts and align Paylocity’s solutions with client objectives. This fully remote role targets organizations with 500+ employees, requiring persistent outreach and a consultative sales approach.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree strongly desired.
• 5+ years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Ability to maintain high activity standards.
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills for objections and surprises in the sales cycle.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new current client business opportunities leveraging the company’s expertise and market profile.
• Schedule and present Paylocity products and services to current clients with 500+ employees.
• Prepare and present proposals and provide follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Organize, complete and obtain documentation for clients adding functionality.
• Work with internal departments for smooth transitions when adding functionality.
• Cultivate executive-level relationships to drive adoption of new features.
• Maintain quarterly touchpoints with clients to determine additional service needs.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure the best client experience.
• Attend trade shows, conferences and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territory.
• Other duties as assigned.
