Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, an AI-first digital agency serving veterinary groups, is hiring a Head of Business Development for Veterinary to own our largest multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This remote role targets expansion across the US and Canada, with a $2M annual quota on a few accounts.

You will close high-level opportunities and coordinate with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders to drive multi-clinic growth.

Qualifications

• Record of closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or marketing/agency services to multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision makers.
• Prefer closing over people management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Expand: add locations and services once a group signs.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to build proposals for key deals.
