Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Head of Business Development for Veterinary to own the largest multi-location deals from the first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with a $2M annual quota and no direct reports.

You will close deals across veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices, expanding locations and services after a win. Timeframes range from discovery to close over 3–12 months, with inbound and SDR support to schedule meetings.

Qualifications

• Record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into veterinary groups, or marketing and agency services to multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers.
• You would rather close business than manage people.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Sell to owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at multi-location groups.
• Drive expansion: add locations and services after a sign.
• Coordinate with strategists and leadership to craft winning proposals.
