Job summary

Blacksmith Agency seeks a Head of Business Development for Veterinary to own large, multi-location veterinary deals from first meeting to signed contract. You will close enterprise-level opportunities with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders, while working remotely for USA or Canada teams.

Your work spans discovery through proposal and negotiation, typically 3 to 12 months per deal. You will not manage a team; you will focus on high-impact, strategic accounts and expanding services

Qualifications

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into veterinary groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision makers.
• Background in high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales is not a fit.

Responsibilities

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.
