Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to join our pre-sales team. You will be the main technical voice for large, global accounts, guiding the strategy to adoption of the Databricks platform.

Working with the Enterprise AE, you will help customers evaluate and implement data-driven transformations, build proofs of concept, and mentor teammates while engaging with executives across the organization.

Remote-friendly in the US; Detroit-area candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large (> $1m ARR) global enterprise accounts.
• Proven ability to present a compelling POV to executives and influencers.
• Strong technical background in big data, data science, and cloud.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java.
• Databricks certification is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• You work with multiple clients as the main technical voice for Databricks.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey to adopt Databricks.
• Implement the technical strategy in the account with cross-functional teams.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Provide mentorship for other team members.
