Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced pre-sales professional to lead the technical strategy for large enterprise accounts. You will work with the Enterprise AE to drive adoption of ML and AI across high-value customers and mentor a team of engineers and data scientists. Remote-friendly with global travel as needed.

You will articulate value, build proofs of concept with hands-on resources, and align technical initiatives with customers’ business goals in the data and cloud space.

Qualifications

• Experience leading virtual teams within large, enterprise accounts.
• Proven ability to influence executives and drive technology strategy.
• Strong background in big data, data science and cloud—production programming in at least one language.
• Databricks certification is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical voice for multiple enterprise clients of Databricks.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey, helping them adopt Databricks solutions.
• Define and implement a technical strategy within accounts and mentor teammates.
• Build a movement of technical champions and align strategies around Databricks offerings.
