Job summary
Zendesk is hiring a Hunter AE to create and close durable net-new business in a fully flexible remote-capable environment across the United States. You will translate customer priorities into a Zendesk platform and AI value proposition, leading multi-threaded executive-level engagements to secure deals.
Role requires deep experience in complex B2B SaaS sales, proven quota attainment, and strong ability to drive value-based discussions with procurement, security, and finance stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 8-12 years in complex B2B SaaS new-business selling.
- Experience with value-based discovery and commercial deal ownership.
- Proven quota attainment and executive engagement.
- Experience with AI/ platform fluency in CX context.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain qualified net-new pipeline to meet or exceed quota via outbound and inbound efforts.
- Lead discovery, qualification, value mapping, negotiation and closing processes.
- Translate customer priorities into Zendesk platform and AI value propositions.
- Coordinate across business, technology, security, finance, procurement and buying committees.
- Own commercial strategy, deal progression within guardrails and ensure credibility.
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Product Specialists, Marketing and partners to improve win rate.
- Maintain CRM data, pipeline health, and forecast discipline with risk visibility.
